Picture
Snow Squall High 24x24
Media: Oils

We live in a gorgeous, magical place.  Inspired by tonalism, my work explores the space and time between night and day, land and water, weather and season, when time stands still and possibilities are infinite.

jennifer harrington (STUDIO 3)

Picture
Moon Shrine 22”x26”
Media: Mixed Water Media Collage

Abstract art explores and witnesses the internal world. It expresses experiences, both real and imagined. Experiences that are often difficult to wrap words around. Symbolic imagery emerges in my art from dream, meditation, journal writing, and life experiences. Recurring images include birds, wolf/dog/deer, black and white trees, screens, and shrines.

And I Still Stand
Media: Stratomorphic Rendering

My art expresses the unknown beyond the familiar. Stratomorphic Rendering is a process I’ve created involving a combination of photography and a unique mixed digital media process that transforms into a completely different artistic expression, bringing out stronger, and often unrelated, messages. A visual experience of the world as I see it.

kent nordby (STUDIO 5)

Picture
Media: Oil

A self-taught oil painter originally from Seattle, I have been living on Fidalgo Island for the last five years and painting the landscapes of the Skagit Valley, North Cascades and Puget Sound region.  While my style is still evolving, I would say it is best described and realistic with a touch of impressionism, with a lot of bold and vivid color.  I hope to continue painting the beautiful scenes of this region for many years to come.

Media: Acrylics

Mary is a long time resident of Skagit Valley, having spent most of her life in the PNW. Her surroundings are reflected in her palette and her paintings radiate her positive energy. Come by and see where she works, plays, and creates!

brett C. sandstrom (studio 9)

Picture
Media: Ink, acrylic, printmaking, and photography

The language of art ties every person to the knowable, to the plausible, and to the unfathomable.  Brett C Sandström’s artistic language was developed through a creative explosion during his teen years, which has been the spark and inspiration for the abstract works he creates thirty years on: working in brushed ink, acrylic painted canvases, collage, printmaking, and photography.
